Why the lack of a grand plan isn’t always a bad thing, with Suzie McCafferty of Platinum Wave
For those familiar with the UK franchise industry, Suzie McCafferty requires little introduction. Boasting nearly 20 years of international franchising experience, she first came to prominence franchising her own printer cartridge business from a single retail shop in Edinburgh to a network of over 70 franchised outlets across six countries. She then went on to become franchise director and board member of a national recruitment franchise, before founding her consultancy business, Platinum Wave Franchising. With that wealth of franchising knowledge, it’s no surprise that franchisors, CEOs and founders are queueing around the block to gain her expert knowledge, expertise, and guidance.
In this conversation, Suzie shines a light on her illustrious career, while also touching on the importance and benefits of leaning on seasoned experts for advice, how important it is for business owners to surround themselves with successful people, Brexit’s impact when it comes to franchisee recruitment, and so much more.
